Our vision is to make it hard to get to hell from Middle Tennessee by creating an interconnected, interdependent network of church-planting churches that saturate our communities and neighborhoods with people who have been radically transformed into the likeness of Jesus by the power of the gospel.
HARD TO GET TO HELL
We believe the Bible speaks clearly about a literal, eternal separation from God that occurs after death – hell – and we desire that no one would experience this. This separation from God is the just result of our rebellion against God’s good design for our lives, and yet – even in our running from God – He has made a way through the finished work of Jesus for us to be reconciled back to Him! This salvation is unmerited, unearned, pure grace from God, and we receive this gift but trusting that Jesus lived a perfect life as our representative, died a horrific death as our substitute, and rose victorious as our guarantee of life after death in full fellowship with our Heavenly Father – heaven!
AN INTERCONNECTED NETWORK OF CHURCH-PLANTING CHURCHES
We believe God’s plan of reconciling people to Himself is through the local church, and so we want to see a gospel-centered, Jesus-loving, church-planting church in every neighborhood of our city and our region.
As we plant churches and launch campuses we desire to create an interconnected, interdependent web of churches that share a sermon calendar, share resources, and share accountability and oversight.
PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN RADICALLY TRANSFORMED INTO THE LIKENESS OF JESUS BY THE POWER OF THE GOSPEL
We believe the gospel of Jesus is the power to rescue people from their rebellion against God (justification), and the power to transform people – through a lifelong journey of belief – into the likeness of Jesus (sanctification).
People who have experienced this new life will change their neighborhoods, communities, city, and world through radical love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Saturating every community with people who have experienced the heart transforming power of the gospel is the only way to truly change our world in such a way that all humans flourish under the kind rule of God.
