Peace...a lot of protests and some of them have been

violent.

Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world give to

you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

I have said these things to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the

world you will have tribulation. But take heart, I have overcome the world.

People are fed up and want

change. Freedom!

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and

thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high

positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in

every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior,

who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the

truth. 1 Timothy 2:1-4

See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit,

according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the

world, and not according to Christ. Colossians 2:8

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of

your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is

good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2

Lack of basic medical supplies and resources such as food, fuel,

medical supplies, water & electricity

Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or

what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life

more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the

air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly

Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you

by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you

anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they

neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not

arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which

today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more

clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What

shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the

Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that

you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his

righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. “Therefore do not

be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Matthew 6:25-34

Many families are separated due to

immigration to other countries

Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For

if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he

falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep

warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail

against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not

quickly broken. Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the

wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. Now as

the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands.

Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he

might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that he

might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing,

that she might be holy and without blemish. In the same way husbands should love their

wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his

own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church, because we are

members of his body. “Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to

his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” This mystery is profound, and I am saying

that it refers to Christ and the church. However, let each one of you love his wife as

himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband. Ephesians 5:22-33

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the

whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of

the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the

rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present

darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to

withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand

therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the

breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on

the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up

the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the

evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which

is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and

supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making

supplication for all the saints, and also for me, that words may be given to

me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for

which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and

petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of

God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your

minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
